Step Two

Time to work on YOUR page. You may want to copy these instructions to a program like 'Notepad' and keep it on your desktop for quick reference. Simply block, right click (on a pc), and copy the code in the box (make sure you get it all), then paste it into your page, somewhere in between the two 'body' tags. Usually near the bottom works the best.
Let's start at the top.

The first variable you see unfilled is the 'mailto:--mail--' section. Delete the '--mail--' part and fill in your own email address. (You may want to set up another email account for this, with a free service such as Geocities.)

Just to the right of this is another spot that says '--name--'. Guess what you put there. This shows up on the web page so you may want to pick a 'handle' (mine is 'Die In Vain') rather than use your real name.

Next you've got about half a dozen areas that say '--id--'. Delete those and replace with the site number you've been given.

Now, copy the graphics, ring4.gif and yahoo1.gif into the SAME directory as the code. Then, right after the section that you put your email and name, you will see a section that has MY directory and ring4.gif, yahoo1.gif Delete the directory name and put your own in.

And that's about it.

A sample of what the completed ring section should look like is at the bottom of this page. If you have any problems, don't hesitate to email me for help.

It should look like this on your page:
